 Concise, useful guide for modern travelers

These guides are not for everyone. But if you’re interested in art, modern amenities, and unusual shops, lounges, restaurants, and local flavor then it’s for you. It provides some information about well-known highlights of the city, but it also tells you about less popular destinations. Lots of photos.
The guide presents you with options, but not so many that you can’t decide. Great for business travel and short visits. But I would recommend a bigger guide for long stays.
For its purpose the guide is excellent.

Barcelona design guide

This Wallpaper book on Barcelona was excellent to have on our December 2010 trip with our family. Small pocket size allows for easy reference on the go. Large color pictures with well written descriptions were very useful.
